Maple Camp
River Bend Nature Center offers a Nature Camp for children ages 7 through 12 on Presidents Day.
This is when, weather permitting, it is time to start the annual tradition of tapping the sugar maple trees and boiling the sap down to pure maple syrup. River Bend will host a one day camp on Monday, February 16, when schools are closed. Campers will spend time out in the sugarbush, learning about and participating in maple collection activities, and cooking campfire pancake lunch with pure maple syrup. Camp will run 9am – 2pm.
Registration is required. Space is limited. -$50 for members, $55 for non-members
